Preparing for Holy month of Ramadan in Singapore

What do we do in preparation for Ramadan?

Ramadan is an important month in the islamic calendar and a holy month for Muslims during which they fast from sunrise to sunset without eating or drinking. It is also one of the five pillars of islam. To prepare for days of fasting in Ramadan, individuals can follow these steps:

  1. Set intentions and goals during this blessed month: Reflect on what you hope to achieve during the month and make a plan to achieve those goals.
  2. Stock up on food: Plan your meals in advance and make sure you have enough energy food to last the day and break the fast. Such as milk, cereals dates and so on.
  3. Get plenty of rest: Fasting can be tiring, so it's important to get enough sleep to help you get through the day.
  4. Increase good deeds: Ramadan is a time to focus on worship, so consider increasing your good deeds and acts of charity.
  5. Connect with community: Attend Terawih prayers and break your fast with family and friends to strengthen your connections with others.
  6. Read and reflect on the Quran: Make an effort to read and reflect on the Quran during Ramadan to deepen your understanding of the faith. Those whom reads the quran are rewa

Remember, Ramadan is a time for self-reflection and spiritual growth, so take advantage of the month to focus on your relationship with Allah. It will be ended with Eid Al fitr (Aidiliftri) where Muslims will celebrate and feast on their spiritual achievement during the month of fasting.
